Great team spirit today with everyone supporting each other. The team enjoyed some good results despite strong competition. Well done to everyone who got call backs including a number of you who reached finals. Many of you looked stunning in new ballroom dresses and Max and Olivia (brother and sister) danced competitively together for the first time today. It was brilliant to whatch, well done, you must do it again! Let’s build on this experience and with good practice more of us will enjoy call backs. Well done to you all, the effort you all put in is really appreciated. Thank you.

Michael and Elisabeth hosted a glamorous Hollywood theme New Years Eve Party and a great time was had by all with lots of games , prizes, good food and dancing. All the guests dressed for the occasion making for a great atmosphere. We wish all our pupils a happy and healthy new year with lots and lots of dancing! Fun was had by all at our ‘Frozen’ themed Christmas party.
The event included games and dancing hosted by our teacher team who dressed for the occasion as ‘Frozen’ characters. Merry Christmas everyone and best wishes for 2015! We have a fabulous action packed Calander of events to look forward to.
Following the Street Dance class on Thursday evening I got the opportunity to meet with the schools Street Dance teacher Bogdan. Check out these shots showing just a few of his moves. Our Dance school is passionate about Street Dance along with the more traditional styles of dance. If you know of any one who would like to try street dance, what ever age or ability then please get in touch.

Our dance school Christmas break begins after our fantastic Christmas party on Sunday 21st December and we re-open on Saturday the 3rd January 2015.
It has been an amazing year for the dance school in 2014 including our success in the ballroom/latin and street dance competitions and new formats in both the childrens and adults classes. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our teachers and helpers but especially our senior teachers Estelle, Harriet, Carlotta and Kim for their support and hard work helping to launch our new ventures.
Please ask for details if any young people would like to be considered for competition. The dance quality of the young people involved has substantially improved since we started and we are having a great time!
We are moving into 2015 with more new exciting things on our agenda. You may have seen Bogdans our new street dance teacher on our dance school Facebook page. Wow! He is a sensation. We are very lucky to have found him. The street dance class will be held on Thursday evening 6pm to 7pm so please pass the word.
